Procedures For Enrolment
Parramatta Certificate in Pastoral Formation
To register for the Certificate in Pastoral Formation (CPF) course, please contact your parish priest and express your interest in enrolling.
Each September, the IFM sends out brochures to every parish in the Diocese of Parramatta, advertising this course for the following year. After consultation with your parish priest, you just need to fill in your application form included in the brochure and return it to the IFM. We will be in touch with you once your application is processed.
Parramatta Diploma of Pastoral Formation
This course is the next step after completing your CPF. At the end of the CPF course, you are invited to enroll in the Diploma, giving you the opportunity to continue your formation.

Beginning Theology, Foundations and Foundations II
- Each year, the IFM runs an information session, inviting anyone interested in these courses. After the session, and if you decide that you would like to take part in a course, you will be asked to fill in the relevant registration form.
- Orientation Day. This is when you will receive your first module in your course of enrolment and learn how to prepare for each module, including preparing written assessments and presentations. You then get to meet the other people who will a part of your cluster group.
- You are now on your way to new insights and learning in your life of faith!

Enrolling in our short courses is as easy as picking up the phone. Just ring the Institute for Mission on 02 9831 4911 or email us indicating the course or courses you would like to take, your name, and a contact number. Please note that leaving your contact number is very important, in case there are changes made related to the course or courses you are seeking to undertake.
