Lending Service

A lending service from the Institute for Mission (IFM) Library is available to:

  • IFM staff and students
  • Students from other institutions
  • Teaching staff from schools
  • Past students of the IFM
  • Catholic clergy and religious
  • The general public
  • Students doing religious assignments at school 

New visitors welcome

When visiting the IFM Library for the first time, simply make your way to the Information Desk.You’ll need to fill in an IFM User Form, which helps us understand your needs and allows us to find ways of improving our library services.

After you’re issued with your electronic user card, you’ll be able to enjoy all the borrowing entitlements of library membership.

A joining fee of $5 applies, followed by an annual renewal fee of $5.

What can I borrow?

Once you have been issued with your electronic user card, you are free to borrow any title contained within the main The Main Collection of the library, including works on scripture, philosophy and ethics.

Books in the library’s Special Collections such as Reference Collection are for library use only, as are the library’s journals.
